Paver Patios & Walkways

A paver patio should still be flat, tight, and beautiful a decade after we leave.

That comes down to what happens before the first paver is set — the base — and who’s standing on the job. Our own crews design and build every paver patio and walkway we install, from Center Valley and Lower Macungie to Allentown’s West End.

Built on a Base That Lasts

Most paver failures aren’t the paver — they’re the base. Frederick holds ICPI certification (the industry’s installation-standards body), and every crew builds to that standard: excavate to depth, compact a proper aggregate base, and set each Techo-Bloc paver with tight joints, polymeric-sand locking, and a solid edge restraint. It’s the unglamorous part of the job — and it decides whether your patio still looks new in ten years.

We’ve been shaping outdoor spaces here since the company was incorporated in 1997, with roots in the trade going back to the early 1980s.

Paver Walkways, Steps & Entrances

Walkways and front entrances take the hardest daily wear on a property. We build paver walkways, landings, and steps on the same engineered base as our patios — pitched to drain, cut and fit on site, and tied into the patio and the home so the whole approach reads as one design.

Our Process, Start to Finish

Every project runs one path: an on-site consultation and measure, a design you approve before we break ground, and one of our own crews building it — never a subcontractor. You’ll see the layout marked out before we dig, and we walk the finished work with you.

Materials & Design That Fit the Home

Pavers come in a range of colors, textures, and patterns; borders, banding, and inlays let a patio echo the house and the landscape around it. We plan the hardscape and the plantings together — grading, beds, and stonework as one design — so the finished space feels built for the property, not dropped onto it.

Serving the Greater Allentown Area

We design and build paver patios and walkways in Center Valley, Lower Macungie, Coopersburg, Macungie, Wescosville, Emmaus, and Allentown’s West End — and across the wider Lehigh Valley. What a Paver Patio Costs

Every patio is priced to the site — size, access, base depth, and features like walls, steps, or lighting all move the number. Honest anchors from our own projects:

~$10,000
Average patio
~$20,000
Project range
$7,500–$75,000+

What Clients Say

“Frederick and his team did an incredible job completely transforming our property. The new walkway, patio, tree and shrubs look amazing, and the stone edging adds a beautiful finishing touch. A special shoutout to the foreman, Brian, whose incredible attention to detail — especially on the hardscape installation — made all the difference. Highly recommend Garden Design!”
